Description: Responsible for automation and product delivery for identified business units and this position will lead projects throughout software development lifecycle and assist in leading application development for the Software Development department.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads development of n-tiered applications and automation systems.

• Designs and creates data structure and stored procedures

• Works with business owners to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, form project plans and communicate progress throughout the software development lifecycle

• Leads multiple projects throughout full lifecycle, interacting with business owners, designers, developers, technical operational teams, QA and support

• Leads and mentors other developers§ Develops training material and trains end users

• Writes and maintains software documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience developing enterprise applications with one of the following database servers: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix, Sybase

• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience developing stored procedures, triggers, views

• Minimum 2 years experience developing ASP.NET web applications, using VB.NET or C#, with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end

• Minimum 3 years of database design and object oriented design

• Experience developing Web Services

• Experience developing Windows Services

• Minimum 2 years experience collecting business requirements, preparing formal documentation including Functional Requirements, Database Diagrams, Class Diagrams

• Minimum 1 year experience leading projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical managers and staff

• Must be able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment

• Well-developed problem solving, project management, and documentation skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
