Description: Chamilia, headquartered in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a progressive, high growth company that sells customizable jewelry to fine quality jewelry retailers throughout the world. Chamilia is a privately held marketer selling a variety of bracelets, necklaces and earrings with beads and charms made of Murano glass, Swarovski crystal, as well as gold and silver. Chamilia jewelry allows each individual to design and customize their own bracelets, necklaces, and anklets, each having their own unique character and style. Currently, we are seeking highly talented team members to contribute to building on our rapid success.

IT Business Process Analyst

Position Summary:

This position is a hands-on role with a broad range of analysis, planning, and operational support duties surrounding key business applications including ERP, CRM, B2B/B2C eCommerce and various supplemental systems. The qualified candidate will work closely with IT, department leads, and power users to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs and use the resulting information to recommend improvements to business processes and related technology systems to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness is achieved. The candidate will document business requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.

Summary of Accountabilities:

• Will be assigned to specific projects in support of strategic initiatives and company goals. Will be expected to work cross-functionally across the business and IT
• Facilitate/organize design sessions, follow-up reviews and the signoff on needed changes
• Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of operational business process including product order/fulfillment, returns processing, customer service, and inside sales.
• Design detailed documentation and diagrams using tools such as Visio, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc…
• Define business requirements for application enhancements, new applications, and information reporting.
• Develop and manage test plans for application changes; assists with functional testing following enhancements, upgrades and new application implementation.

• Accurately and efficiently translate business requirements to high level systems specifications
• Develop and present conceptual/functional models along with cross-functional process & system dependencies
• Understand current systems and business processes to become the subject matter expert for assigned areas
• Assist with user training/documentation/post-implementation turnover to business and support personnel
• Confidence to triage issues as they arise, get the correct parties involved and handle any needed escalation
• Maintain consistent communication and teamwork with internal and external business partners and customers
• Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks
• Work with end-users and IT teams on data and reporting needs
• Work with Development on Interface/Integration data and process mapping
• Lead technology deployments on assigned projects, working with technical teams and release management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), in technology or related field
• Requires minimum 4 years as an IT business analyst or process analyst on business solutions
• Strong conceptual understanding of relational databases and client-server applications.
• Develop training programs and materials; facilitate delivery of training sessions.
• Provide functional application support for business applications including ERP and CRM.
• Performs periodic data integrity checks to ensure quality of information in ERP and other systems-work with related business unites to correct data as necessary.
• Prefer systems experience in one or more of the following business disciplines:
o Merchandising solutions including but not limited to Vendor Relations/Mgmt, Inventory Management/Planning and Merchandising Operations
o e-Commerce solutions in the areas of Web merchandising, Content Management, 3rd party membership services
• Experience documenting current and future state process flows and recommending improvements
• Experience defining and documenting requirements and test cases
• Experience implementing a packaged solution that includes integrations to other enterprise solutions
• Experience designing, testing, and implementing integration components of solutions
• Skilled at working with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics system
• Prefer background with other Microsoft technologies (SqlServer, .Net, Sql Reporting Services, TFS, MS Project, Biztalk)
