Description: Chamilia, headquartered in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a progressive, high growth company that sells customizable jewelry to fine quality jewelry retailers throughout the world. Chamilia is a privately held marketer selling a variety of bracelets, necklaces and earrings with beads and charms made of Murano glass, Swarovski crystal, as well as gold and silver. Chamilia jewelry allows each individual to design and customize their own bracelets, necklaces, and anklets, each having their own unique character and style. Currently, we are seeking highly talented team members to contribute to building on our rapid success.
Business Analyst - - Supply Chain

This position is an operationally oriented role responsible for a broad range of system reporting, analysis, and planning surrounding key business applications within our Supply Chain team. The qualified candidate will work closely with IT, department leads, and power users to improve business processes and related technology support systems to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness is achieved.
Key Responsibility Areas
• Serve the needs of the Supply Chain team by acting as the primary Supply Chain Information Analyst by working to identify core information requirements and developing systems and tools to report key information
• Serve as the departmental expert for MS Dynamics Great Plains - - responsible to synthesize the needs of the department, service requests for information, and act cross functionally on teams to ensure business information needs are met
• Create training and documentation for use of the tools to users of the information, train other team members using this documentation
• Manage the core MS Dynamics Great Plains Master Data processes and inputs - - develop a strong understanding of all operations interactions within the order entry system to facilitate the most effective and efficient system configuration
• Play an active role in establishing procedures and maintaining Great Plains Master data including items, pricing, etc
• Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by providing needed critical planning data and analyzing and suggesting important trends to optimize forecast and planning accuracy
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 to 5 years direct work experience in an analyst capacity, including developing effective and efficient reporting and data processes
• Experience working in and developing reporting for MS Dynamics Great Plains required
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Excel, Access, Pivot Tables, Sharepoint, Word
• Knowledge of Rockysoft or other forecasting application preferred
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Conforms well to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Flexible during times of change
• Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
