| Description: | *I will also accept best offer! 8mp Kodak Easyshare p880. I bought this camera barely used to take professional photos for a college project while hiking the 2,000+ mile Appalachian Trail last year (I decided not to bring it on the trip when it was time to go, so it is unused by me). I chose it for high resolution and professional features like being able to shoot in RAW format and having a wide range of flexibility for things like day/night landscape shots and good detail at close range. Kodak made the camera to compete with entry-level digital SLR cameras but the camera itself would be classified in the "pro-sumer" range of cameras (above lower, simple, consumer range cameras but not as fully customizable as with SLRs). It's a camera designed for the skilled photographer that can't break their bank for a camera but wants a lot of good quality controls and manual options. It comes with a barely used tripod, carrying case with lots of room for storage, 2 batteries and a charger (one is a brand new lithium ion, never used), as well as a starter 512MB flash card (you will probably want to upgrade). You will need a USB cable if you want to directly transfer from camera to computer unless you have Easyshare hardware from Kodak. Otherwise you can simply remove the flash card and stick it in an appropriate drive on your computer to upload images. The camera WAS NOT USED by me at all. I bought it a little over a year ago for my 6 month backpacking trip but decided against it since it is too bulky and expensive to be bringing on a journey through the mountains. I brought a small camera that would fit in my pocket instead, so this camera has been sitting in my closet untouched. It is in excellent condition and shows no signs of wear from previous user, it operates like new. This is an excellent deal and the reason I'm selling it is I am unemployed and moving to Florida and need the funds to move and establish myself down there. Please help me out and buy yourself this great camera! Read an in-depth, independant 3rd party review of the camera here for all the technical specifications: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/KodakP880/ I can supply more photos upon request and if you're in the Bangor area you can come see it yourself! |
