Description: Lumiversal is currently seeking a Researcher for our location in downtown San Jose.

Lumiversal is a brand new start up based out of downtown San Jose. We are working on revolutionary lighting technology that not only is energy efficient but also one of the most environmentally friendly products on the market. You will be working with a team who bring energy, a great sense of humor, and a strong passion for new technologies and green/sustainability industry.

If you are looking for an internship which will be your stepping stone into energy efficiency and sustainability environment and you enjoy researching and work in a fast pace, this might be the opportunity for you.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with management team on design new
and exciting projects

• Conduct research and create documentation

• Gather, analyze, and disseminate information from:
o Federal, State, and Local Governments
o Utility Companies
o Competitors and

• Maintain, update and modify completed analysis projects
• Work closely in the energy efficiency and sustainability and going to local events

Desired Skills:

• Self starter who is highly organized and able to work autonomously

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to assimilate new knowledge quickly

• Passionate about your work and have a high work ethic

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong math skills and computer skills

• Interest in energy efficiency & sustainability

Compensation: No immediate compensation but opportunity for future employment.

Time Commitment: ~ 20hrs/week
