Field Service Engineer providing Subject Matter Expert support & technology in optical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic based robotic systems.

- Supporting systems and equipment within an assigned 40+hr. per week work schedule.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs company products and systems, on-site, any time, any where(valid PassPort). This includes hardware, software and networking products.

- Manages parts inventory and territory to comply with established operating standards.
- Performs and oversees machine factory modifications and software/operating systems upgrades of equipment to insure optimum performance.
- Establishes and maintains positive customer relations.
- Schedules work activity to accommodate customer's working environment

- High school diploma, Some Collage, Trade Schools, Military, Manufactures Training
- 30 years field experience as a technician working with technology and people
- Excellent customer service skills, understanding what the customer needs and letting them know how we can meet their needs
- Proven electro-mechanical skills, working with computer controlled equipment both hardware and software
- Effective communication skills, talking with customers over the phone to diagnose and understand the issues the customer is calling about, knowing how to ask stupid questions polity
- Strong organizational skills, using expense reports, parts inventory, job completion reports and submitting all on-time
- Knowledge of Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP), Unix, and Macintosh Operating Systems
- Experience working with various teams/cross-border/district/region when required
- Experience working with hazardous substances such as acids and solvents
- Ability and willingness to work in Biotech or Clinical lab environments
- Possesses extensive knowledge of complete product systems, with a general understanding of related software, servers and channel configuration
- Has PC literacy and understanding of basic network concepts
- Has completed PC+: Hardware and PC+: Operating Systems
- Has completed PC+: Networks
- Available to work overtime as required
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be in a mobile activity more than 50% of the time. (Walking/standing/stooping/kneeling)
