Description: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources the Human Resource Manager provides human resource consultation and coaching to assigned areas in a manner that supports business goals and creates a positive and productive workplace. The HR Manager is responsible for building strategic partnerships with their clients and provides a full range of HR knowledge in labour/employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, employee engagement, corrective discipline and conflict resolution. The position works with considerable independence and will be required to “solution” and make sound/accurate decisions on complex issues. The position is responsible for managing multiple areas of responsibility servicing both Union and non Union groups.
