Description: Senior Electrical Engineer with Design Experience needed for Tampa, Florida client.
Must be eligible to work in the US (citizen or permanent resident)

All Candidates Must Have:
5 – 10 years product design/testing in manufacturing business’s engineering department
Circuit Design Experience
Hands on design of block up & down converters (Bands, C, X, Ku & Ka Satcom), with design, analysis, prototype testing & performance analysis
. Low Phase noise Phased Locked Loops design experience
PLL design (not required, is a plus)
Exp with gain, noise, and IP analysis
. Filter design experience using lumped element and planar structures
Cavity & waveguide filter design (not required, is a plus)
Design experience with transverters utilizing 802.11/802.16 (a plus)
Power Amplifer Design experience, powier levels of 10W-100W in X-Ka band (a plus)
PCB layout experience (a plus)
Proficient in either Eagleware and/or Microwave Office
Basic AutoCAD (a plus)
Spice Based simulation (a plus)
schematic/PCB layout software such as PCAD or Altium Designer (a plus)
Hands on with o-scopes, spectrum analyzer, scalar analyzer, signal generator and power meters
. Ability to document design and system performance data in laboratory
notebook narratives, test plans and procedures, schematic diagrams and
test reports. Conduct performance trade-off analyses and recommend
cost effective design solutions.
Ability to provide analyze product failure data and manufacturing testing
trends, troubleshoot yield issues and recommend product / testing
improvements.
Possession of ability to define tasks required to complete a complex,
multi-faceted engineering assignment, schedule forecasted completion
dates and provide detailed status to supervisory personnel. Basic cost
estimating capability (hours and dollars) for assigned tasks is also
required.
