Description: We are currently looking for an Associate Director of Lean for a company in the Albany, NY area. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

This is a exciting opportunity to work with an international company that is a leader in Animal Modeling and Laboratory Services to Biomedical Research Manufacturing Facilities. The Associate Director of Lean will play a critical leadership role that will develop, deploy and implement a global Lean Six-Sigma manufacturing business model.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, analyze and manage the budget supporting all Lean activities
• Lead the research, development and execution of company-wide Six-Sigma strategy to support the company’s global business goals
• Oversee that all initiatives meet and exceed Lean Six-Sigma benchmarks
• Champion change management by directing the execution of a continuous process improvement plan
• Supervision of project teams throughout the process

Required Education:
• Master’s degree (MA) or equivalent technical managerial experience
• Lean Six Sigma Certification—Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred
• Membership or Certification from APICS is preferred

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Enterprise practices and tools
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Highly refined analytical, strategic and visionary skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire measurable results in others
