prepare some foods for me
I need my house reorganized too please
drive me to my aquatherapy classes 3x per week and get in pool with me to help with aqua therapy and then help me in the locker room to get showered and dressed. (this is so cool for you because you get to receive the benefits of warm water therapy on the body and doing the exercise with me for free! it is 700 dollars per year and you pay nothing as my aide!)
Various other things come up like : sewing a blouse, or finding my body gel that the previous helper may have put deep in a cabinet that is just inaccessable, odd things that are just necessary part of the day to day, as I'm jsure you have in your own life. There is just no way to write out a full list of every job task you'll have.
Let it be known I have a very important and very queen like cat. She is a high needs cat and she is my world. She does all hiring, not me. The more she likes you, the better. She likes clean germ free living too so don't we all and I need some help minor but still some help with her.
The hours I need are Monday through Friday 11-3, 20 hours a week, which is 80 hours per month. I keep track of hours and I handle all the timecard matters which may be different for you if you have other clients. I have had clients take hours from me so I now handle all time cards myself. Consider it one less piece of paper you have to handle :).
Let me tell you about myself a bit. Besides being very germaphobic, I am legally blind and use a wheelchair outside of the home if there will be a bit of walking. If its just from point a to point b in a car with no walking from a parking lot, I just use my canes. So you will need to be able to lift a wheelchair in your trunk. I just want an honest hard working angel to come take care of me so I don't have to be stressed out by all the nuttiness out there anymore. Please. I've just had enough. I need continuancy of care so please only apply if you can honestly committ so at least a year with me. I need to have surgery and I need continuancy of care for that. I don't want to be searching for a helper that is good all the time. It's just too hard to find. Please angel if you are out there, come bless me. I would like someone with an open mind. I am very open minded about all lifestyles. All religions.
I know I sound very picky, but I've been burnt a lot. The state is working on preventing problems for us clients and protecting us from harm finally. This is long overdue but we are finally enforcing putting Everyone through a background check and everyone's going to be fingerprinted by the government. If you have a felony don't apply. If you have a misdemeanor still appply, they aren't denying people of that level right off the bat. I don't know what types of misdeameanors are being denied, but apply and interview and we'll go from there at least. It's worth an interview.
Please reply with your expedrience and 3 references, 2 business that are not related to you, and 1 personal, that is not related to you. Include a resume if you have one available. Even if it has nothing to do with caregiving, I'd like to see it. Please include a number that I can reach you at within the next two days. I am looking at interviewing this week or by the end of the weekend. Job will start on Monday, October 19 and you will train for the first two days in the home. Then on the 21st we will go swimming so bring your suit and towel with any shampoo and stuff you need to shower. ;) Choose the fun option!
