Description: We've got an awesome house that we'd like to bring another, hopefully awesome roommate into.
The room is converted from the living room, but there are doors all around and nobody technically has to walk through it, but check out the picture attached to get a good idea of the layout (the available room is labeled living/3rd bdrm, not the other one... sorry it's confusing).
Rent is at $500 (though maybe negotiable), utilities run around $100/mo total, so around $33 split 3 ways. The deposit is $1600 total, so $533 ea. The lease is month-to-month and it's directly with the landlord. Move in costs are 1 mon rent + deposit. The landlord is friendly and responsive.
The room is available no sooner than Oct. 25th and we'd like to have someone lined up within the next week if possible.
The roommates are both students at UCB. I'm a grad student in civil engineering, the other is a 3rd yr transfer student in Anthro. We both play music some, so please be OK with that. And even better if you play as well. We're responsible, clean, considerate and fun. We'll be spending most of our time studying, but group cooking and hanging out should happen. Looking for someone similar.
The place is at University and 7th.
