• The room is private and unfurnished, 9x11'.
• It will hold a large bed, dresser, desk, chair, TV.
• Great lighting (track lighting and ceiling fan when it gets hot)

• Huge is an understatement!
• Complete, brand-new, condo-quality renovation.
• High ceilings, new hardwood floors, extensive moldings, Victorian detail, two ornate fireplaces.
• Lots of closets and storage space throughout.
• Kitchen and two large bathrooms have oak cabinets and tiled floors and walls.
• Fully wired, lots of outlets. Phone, cable-tv, Internet outlets in every room. WiFi too.
THE BUILDING:
• Just 12 apartments, townhouse ambience, extensively restored.
• Nice, diverse residents. Young professionals, students, singles.
• Well maintained by responsive staff and owner. The landlord is one of the best landlords I’ve ever encountered and the maintenance is super responsive.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
• In the Hamilton Heights Historic District, off Amsterdam Avenue. A stable neighborhood of tree-lined streets and brownstones.
• A pretty block in a friendly community. Neighbors work in government, business, education, arts, nonprofits, many other fields.
• One block to shopping on Broadway. Super close to universities (Three blocks to CCNY, 20 to Columbia). Five minute walk to great parks with courts and all weather running track: St. Nicholas, Riverbank, Jackie Robinson.
• #1 subway is on Broadway at 145th, ABCD subways are on St. Nicholas at 145th. Bus service is very frequent and stops at our corner. It’s literally a 4 minute walk to either subway stop from our front door.
THE ROOMMATES:
• Nice, quiet, responsible, organized.
• Students at CCNY and John Jay.
• Enjoy having company over but are also very studious.
• Friendly and outgoing.
• They will help to select the new roommate!
• Non-smokers only.
• Preference is a female between the ages of 18-24.
OTHER:
• Heat and hot water are included.
• Overseas applicants are OK.
• Students with guarantors OK.
• $25 credit check fee.
