Description: Yes, these really are amethyst beads. They are moss amethyst and here is a bit about this stone.

"Our supplier calls these Moss Amethyst but these are also known as Goethite in Amethyst. These are amethyst stones which are more clear than violet which you will usually associate with Amethyst although you do get the occasional violet patch. But these come with lots of little moss and rutile-like inclusions (Goethite) that look amazing!"

These stones are faceted and they are 5 x 9 mm. The photo shows the entire range of color usually seen in this stone. These are lovely beads that you'd be proud to work with.

I know you'll love these - the inclusions just glitter in the light. Finding this stone at this quality level is rare; however, if you don't love them, for any reason, they may be returned.
