Description: We are looking for two intelligent, energetic and self-motivated interns who love home decor and are interested in joining our team in an editorial capacity starting immediately through December 31 ,2009.
Interns will work remotely and have a different schedule each week so flexibility. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Developing story angles
Editorial research
Fact checking
Product scouting
Live interviews - onsite or on phone
Writing the story
Interns will play a pivotal role in day to day business- this internship is unpaid but NOT your typical internship and has full blown career opportunities ahead.
Our ideal candidates are independent and enthusiastic people with a love home décor and are passionate about writing.
Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week
Excellent research, writing and communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
Independent work style requiring minimal supervision
Computer Savvy
Love for home decor and design
English, Journalism, Writing graduate
Previous writing experience a bonus
