Description: Have you ever thought about becoming a business owner?
I am an AVON lady. If you are looking for hype it is not me.
I do it part time.
And it is a work in progress.
You can make money at it. I do, and no it is not a big amount yet.
The money is not instant it takes time to build a business and customer list.
Once you have customers and start to make consistent profit from that you can go even farther.
I am making a consistent profit.
AVON encourages us to recruit more sales folks and train them on how to be successful as well.
When you train 5 people successfully (that means getting them to sell 250.00 or more every 2 weeks) you become a unit leader.
Unit leaders are basically sales managers and receive bonus commissions from keeping their trainees motivated, selling, and over all successful.
They too have to have consistent sales for you can not train someone to do something you can not do yourself.
As you train more folks and the folks under you begin to train others you continue to get more and more bonuses on top of your regular sales profit.
This is why I say it takes time to see a real profit for it will take time to sale Avon recruit and train new sales people.
It builds up over time.
From what I have seen from folks who have been doing this for a long time it takes about 5 to 10 years before it will replace a full time career.
Once you get to that point you end up making more profit than you ever would working for someone else.
Below are starter FACTS about being an AVON lady.


You are consider an Independent Representative (aka self employed business owner).
All new representatives earn 50% commissions on the core beauty products they sell (commission contingent on campaign sales of $50.00 or more)on their 1st 4 campaigns. After the 4th campaign commission is set on a sliding scale dependant of how much you sell. This scale is provided in detail in the start up kit.
You place the order, Avon ships it to you, then you deliver the orders and collect payment, last you send payment for the invoice that Avon provided in your order. The difference left over is your profit. You may choose to collect payment at the time a customer places an order that is up to you.
Avon provides face to face training that is free.
Avon also provides the ability for you to place orders through your own representative account online.
Online training classes are provided free and an incentive for completing the courses is available.
There is an Avon Community Forum you will can use, to once set up as an Avon lady, to gain knowledge and support from other Avon ladies any time of the day.
In the first kit you receive 20 brochures(10 for your 1st campaign and 10 for your 2nd) to show customers and collect orders. After that brochures are sold at cost to you in packs of 10. It is most economical to buy 100 brochures for you get a price break that makes the brochures 20 cents a piece.
Your own website is available from Avon for free if you want to be an AvonErepresentative. One order must be place through your site per campaign to get the service free. If an order is not received Avon charges $7.50 on your invoice for up keep.
Avon provides upward mobility by giving incentives and bonuses for representatives that show others how to be an Avon Representative.
Seriously think about it and let me know if you want to give it an earnest try. To start out you need to have a face to face interview with me and buy your starter kit which is 10.00. YES it is only 10.00 not on hundred or three hundred like some other companies. You NEVER HAVE take on inventory unless you desire such.
