Why? In college, doesn't fit in dorm room, and it just doesn't get played any more.
Price: $350

Description: Features fully weighted keys, MIDI capabilities, elegant wooden cabinet, and matching piano bench. This piano was purchased online a few years ago, and is in near-perfect condition. We chose to purchase this piano because of its fully weighted keyboard. This unique feature is not found in many cheaper digital keyboards, and adds a better sense of realism for those more experienced piano players. In addition, the piano is fully MIDI capable. The piano features several beautifully sampled musical voices, including harpsichord, vibraphone, organ, guitar, violin, strings, human voice, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, drums and animal, and Samulnori percussion. The piano is encased in an elegant wooden cabinet, includes an excellent internal speaker (located between the legs, under the keyboard), allows for headphones to be used, and includes a matching sturdy piano bench. This piano is perfect for both beginning piano students and experienced pianists and would be an excellent addition in any musician’s home.

Retails online for $550 (including bench) + shipping.

Don't worry! I'm still playing piano! I just don't use the digital piano as much as I would like.

Can you find somewhere with more information on Valdesta's? I can't find anything about that brand anywhere.

Honestly, I don't know a whole lot about the company either. The piano is hand-crafted in Italy, and Valdesta is the American name for the Italian brand Viscount (http://www.viscount.it/). Unfortunately, there just isn't a whole lot of information on the internet about Valdesta pianos anymore, but we chose to buy it because it had all the features I required and it was a very highly-rated digital piano on the retail sites.
