Looking for a Roommate:

Room for Rent, quiet NE neighbourhood near UNM for $330.

Why? Because we have a room available.
Price: $330
Category: Housing : Roommates
Posted: in Albuquerque, NM
Description: We (two international grad students) are looking for a UNM student tobe our new roommate.

We have a room for rent at our house in the nice NE neighbourhood. The
room will be available around the middle of next week, i.e. 8th of June more or less.
One block from Girard, two from Constitution, this quiet and very safe neighbourhood is great to live in. Less than 10 minutes by bike to UNM, two blocks from a great laundromat, 5 blocks from the Smiths at Carlisle and Constitution, and within biking distance of Wal Mart, CompUSA, Circuit City and K-Mart. Also a few blocks from the golf course, where you can go running.
Probably no more than ten cars come down our street each day.
Look up the intersection of Constitution and Girard on Google Maps to get an idea of where it is located.
The house itself is a three-bedroom house with a garage and an enormous back yard and patio. It was recently renovated, so the paint, windows, wiring, carpet, kitchen appliances and bathroom are all under two years old, and in good condition.
The room for rent is off the kitchen, and has a door out to the back yard. There is central heating and a swamp cooler. Windows are double-glazed, and have bars on them for (rather superfluous) safety.
There is a garage which can be used to store a few things here and there, including your bicycle.
Rent is $330 per month, plus utilities. Water is paid for by the owners. The deposit is $292.
There is Wifi high-speed internet and (basic) cable TV, and that works out to about $20 a month if you use them. There is a small flatscreen TV and a DVD player. We also enjoy using our bread machine, and you're welcome to, as well.
We are looking for someone willing to stay at least a semester in the house. Non-smoker, responsible, mature and tidy, and respectful of other people's space.
