I've had the axe for a good few years now so it's had the chance to open up from its original sound. If you haven't heard the classic Martin sound - here it is. The bass is profoundly deep and highs capitalize on the guitar's amazing sustain. It's markedly louder than the other guitars I own and is perfectly suited to play accompaniment to a voice. It's excellent for a host of musical styles from rhythm strumming to some mellow fingerstyle. It was moderately gigged with here and there and there are some noticeable scratches in the finish. The headstock is also discolored from leaving a capo on there for a protracted amount of time (last time I forget to do that before I go on vacation). These cosmetic issues have no effect on the guitar's playability or sound. I have not altered it significantly aside from lowering the action.
This does come with the original hardshell case which is in excellent condition!
