Why?
My friend's computer died and he asked me to take a look at it. I took it to work and determined that the motherboard was bad. I told him that he needed to replace the MB but he is not willing to put up the money to fix it, so he gave it to me. I dissected the computer and was able to salvage several working parts. The battery works fine, i fully charged it and tested it on another computer.
