Instructions for setting up your Map Photo

  1. Open the create map tab (or click here to open in new window)
  2. Choose the album containing the pictures for the map
  3. Select a picture that you want marked on the map (by clicking on the picture thumbnail or by using the arrows to select a picture)
  4. Search for an address or the city name in the search box
  5. Add a new marker by clicking 'Add a new marker' (in the box on the left of the map) . A blue marker should appear
  6. Move the marker to your desired position
  7. Save marker by clicking 'Save marker location' (in the box on the left of the map)
  8. Change the location name
  9. Repeat steps 3 onward until you're done. Instead of having to create new markers however, you can use existing ones simply by clicking on the existing markers

Instructions for viewing network map

  1. Click on view network map tab (or click here to open in a new window)
  2. Type an address into the search box to see any marked locations by your friends in the visible map area
  3. Alternatively you can drag the map around and click on 'Show All Pictures in Current Area'. Note that you must be zoomed in at a level of at least 10 (10 clicks of the + symbol on the map) to be able to use this method
  4. Click on any of the markers or on any of the location names to see the pictures taken in the marked location
