	Chairman and Chief Executive Tom Ryan said in an earnings call the company had some "big client losses" in its pharmacy benefits business for the 2010 selling season. The announcement sparked concern for investors, who had been worried about underperformance at Caremark in recent months. Meanwhile, the hybrid pharmacy-benefit manager and drugstore chain reported better-than-expected third-quarter earnings and said it sees 2009 earnings at the high end of its forecast.
