Just in case it doesn't do it automatically I'd just like to point out Able Auctions (AAC) which monday morning became SCOK which cannot be traded. I see similar problems you say are addressed fridays which works. Also have been waiting for EBIX to show it's 3-1 split from jan 5th still. Thanks for all the great work you guys do here ka-ching is the greatestfb app ever.

Should post about EBIX on the help page. I had to have them go in and switch it over manually and they did it a week or two ago for me.

Commodity stocks, for the day, are extended. Look at fcx, x pot and take some profit in these great stocks. You will be able to buy them back at a better price.

Sell into this strength and raise cash for tomorrow. You know we will go down 100plus on Wednesday Dow up 191- not for long!

Just looked at your portfolio. Although I would not be a buyer of TM, don't you thik all the bad news is out? I traded it during all the bad news and made real money in my real account, small money here.

The reputation is tarnished for TM, and knowing a bit about jap culture, this issue is not over yet, we can see a big snowball coming for them.
2/9/10 7:25 PM
Naa, TM will be fine. I don't think Ford or GM can capitalize on this opportunity to grab more market share especially with their current line-up of automobiles.

Talk about a wave of the most broken sputter of posts/conversation I've ever seen. Anyhow, the day is looking good.

Today reminds me of "David after dentist" of youtube fame.
"Is this real life?" "I have two fingers" "Is this going to be forever?"

Gotta remember there's still a knife in the back of patient (Economy)... we might have a faulty doctor.

The real question I have is if today's good will have any legs? It seems like a response to a lack of bad news as opposed to being related to any particular good news. I have a feeling it will drop out at the next piece of slightly negative news.

This is a time to sell and take profits , especially in the commodity stocks. Does anyone think the Dow, Sand P and the Russell will be up again tomorrow. SELL, TAKE PROFITS and use the cash for the next buying opportunity. Conversely, if you are a risk taker, short fcx,pot and x

I think this is your best chance to get out of your losers and take profit on your winners. I'm keeping some of what I think has long term potential and waiting for for them to drop more to get a better price when we hit the bottom. I don't think we are there yet. I think we loose these gains by the end of the week middle of next week. Of course, I have been wrong many times before.

There are still too many attractive stocks out there. Take a look at TRI, for example, it pays 3.3% dividend annually. The chairman of this company is the richest Canadian, David Thomson. This company is so well-managed and has strong products as well. TRI continues expanding its business by buying smaller competitors and focus its business more in Asia. The earnings will continue to grow. I have no doubt the stock has nowhere else to go but up.

On top of that, don't forget that Canadian dollar is extremely undervalued at this level.
