@Investor 625466 - "bottomfeeders of socitiety?" Let's try to keep lawyers and derivative bond sellors out of this, shall we? ;o)

I think Ben is just doing a little farming for info and I don't think he is overdoing it. Once or twice a day to bump his agenda is okay. He's just using the resources available to him. The fact he actually follows the threads and chimes in from time to time is a far, far better approach than simply automating SPAM posts and moving on the next 50,000 websites.

Though I don't really get how someone, anyone, hopes to target an age group within a music-based genre with anything but consumables is feasible. Using the music itself to target specific groups to sell consumables, I can see. From what I have seen, Ben is simply trying to create the product (investing) as a consumable. If he turns a little coin; fine. Do I think learning about investing has a huge target audience? Yup. Would I invest in his venture? Nope. If it was hip-hop aimed at education centres and institutions which qualified for government aid money and became a tax credit for star support from the industry I might consider otherwise.... At present I think the mission is a bit too vague.

@Jordan - Should have covered your shorts before GM went bankrupt in July 09. It now trades under GMGMQ. I think all the shorts went down with all the other investors.

So we are on the path of another entitlement plan. How much more debt can the dollar bear?

@investor20387- I strongly disagree with you on that one. I am living proof that a person can work his way out of the housing projects. If they really want to. I do not need nor want any gov hand out thank you very much. I work 12 hrs a day at a tire factory and am damn proud of what I have done with my life so far.

@Ben
Has there been major capital inflows into black music production firms or something? No. Because no traders will bother with the bottom-feeders of society. Stop spamming the boards with your garbage, do it somewhere else.

@ Ben,

I see what you're partially saying, but you're still saying they NEED this thing called money by the cart load to be happy. There's nothing wrong with sports, why try to direct kids away from it. As for drugs and entertainment, that problem exists off the "street" probably more so than on the "street". I can guarantee that simply funneling a group of kids from the "hood" - I put that in quotes because it doesn't mean what it used to because they technically exist outside of the inner city projects now - into the financial market isn't going to work. Why? Because you don't address the underlying sociological conditions first. The motivational factors for why the kids are currently doing what they do. Or for that matter if we think the current glamoritization of drugs, whores, and killing, couldn't simply be stopped by those who're in control simply stopping the process... If I lock you up in a box for 5 years and control every aspect of the time you're awake, I'm going to indoctrinate you. Don't you see the bigger issue here... who is locking the children up in that box of indoctrination?? You always have to look at who the players are, who is running the show, and then what could their possible motives be. Who will be the true winners and losers. If you look at the way the system is set up right now... I would argue that the market would love to absorb a bunch of kids from the "hood", they lost the trust of middle america. It's like the pimp who has to go find a new trick, or the distributor who needs a new mule. Ben, there are alot of successful people who have been raised in poverty... That's what the "american dream" used to be. It's not like it's just an american thing, you can go back in history a 1000 years and find events where people were able to find their way out of poverty.

Investor 20387, I'm sorry you weren't informed of the movement you are vaguely speaking of. The message is that if your raised in poverty you don't have to be a product of your enviornment. Whether a person make money on kaching or on in the streets the one thing they have in common is ambition. Im going to show and teach the youth you don't need sports, drugs and entertainment to be successful in life. Im living proof of that and if getting a job and working their whole life is that young person's ambition at least their career choice will be broader than the what they see in the hood. That makes my music innovative hip hop and will produce dividends for society.

@ Frank and Ben,

Not to be a storm cloud, but you're being fooled if you think anything to do with the market at all is a "solution" to the problems of today's youth... Unless you think teaching children greed will help. The deck has been stacked for a long time. Solidarity is the answer!

@ Ben,
I don't know why any of the 25 and older crowd would listen to that, we've been fed "thoughts" from an early age by leviathans in Hip Hop, and as far as i'm concerned "true" Hip Hop is dead! I'm not sure what exactly you think street life has to do with kaChing, or the "market" for that matter. Like with everything in life, there are the puppets and the puppeteers. If you really want to make a difference teach kids about hard work, and to care about their families and f*ck the market! The "street life" rappers on tv emulate is BS! What kind of entrepreneur do you have in mind? It sounds like something in the financial industry, you probably have in mind raking in cash by the cart load. What's f*$king wrong with getting a job and working your whole life? If you want to get all technical, you're doing a job right now when you keep posting and try and get some kinda message across. Problem is, you seem like you're a spokesperson without a message. So, you're doing a "job" with no goal, and you won't get paid for it. WAKE THE F*CK UP!! That's my advice.... Drop the shit that 50million guys just like you have been doing for the past 20 years, and be an innovator!!
