The international team of Video Eldorado, invites you to follow the first edition of its traveling, humanitarian, documentary project. From April to June, 6 young people will set off from Quebec and cross North America to Honduras, on board a classic school bus converted into a mobile, environmentally- friendly studio.

The international team of Video Eldorado, invites you to follow the first edition of its traveling, humanitarian, documentary project. From April to June, 6 young people will set off from Quebec and cross North America to Honduras, on board a classic school bus converted into a mobile, environmentally- friendly studio.
Video Eldorado is missioned to utilise multimedia tools as an ally to facilitate dialog and social interaction. This will be done by giving video, photo and art workshops to marginalised, minority or underprivelliged groups. The objective being, to enable cultural dialog, and a better understanding of the people of the Americas that we encounter, and to create amazing, spontaneous and rich images. The project will be catalogued and hosted on the Internet.
This project has been developed encompassing 4 main themes: Education, Social, Ecological and multimedia.

La troupe cosmopolite de Vidéo Eldorado, entièrement bénévole, vous propose de suivre la première édition de son projet humanitaire itinérant. D’avril à juin 2009, neuf voyageurs partent de Québec en autobus scolaire réaménagé en studio ambulant et converti en moyen de transport écologique pour traverser l’Amérique jusqu’au Honduras.
Le projet Vidéo Eldorado a pour objectif principal de se servir de l’audiovisuel comme moyen d’ouverture sociale : Permettre le développement des échanges interculturels ainsi qu’une meilleure compréhension des peuples de l’Amérique, et de créer des images merveilleux, spontanées et riches; tel est le défi que souhaite relever cette joyeuse équipe internationale. On relevera le defi à travers des ateliers de video, photo et de l’art que la groupe va donner aux groupes marginalisées et minoritaires.
Ce projet ambitieux se développe ainsi en quatre volets : Éducatif,Social,Écologique,Médiatique

Video Eldorado is about to leave for the unltimate humanitarian road trip. We leave in T-6 days. Some of our team are arriving from europe and we are now official partners with UNICEF Mexico. Anyone in Canada listen to Radio Canada 106.3 at around 4 and you will hear a short interview about our project. The team is working hard but the filming and video web capsules will commence soon, let the adventure begin!
