jay farrar doesnt have a chip on is shoulder, its just that he is painfully shy. he cant even look at you in the eye when you're talking to him.

After emailing Barrymore's, they confirmed that unfortunately there isn't a Son Volt show on the 16th. Too bad, Barrymore's is such a great venue. First experience with the crappy "on tour" feature for ILIKE. It would have really pissed me off...but I'm really greatfull that ILIKE has notified me about an upcoming Johnny Cash show - should be excellent, Ha!

im a big fan of jay farrar but he seems to have a chip on his shoulder with not only the world but also jeff tweedy. calm down jay, its not worth it to be angry.

Son Volt is one of my Favorite bands. however, I have a huge problem with paying $45 to see any show at Barrymore's. It's a sub-par music venue (glorified bar), and they kick people out for almost anything. The band may get payed more by barrymore's, on a flat rate but I'm willing to bet Son Volt could draw a ton more people out to capitol music hall in the 30-35 dollar range and get a better honorarium.
