Color Theory presents Depeche Mode sold out

The first pressing of Color Theory presents Depeche Mode has sold out. It will continue to be available for download from the Color Theory Music Store, iTunes, Amazon, and most other download stores. There are no immediate plans to press more CDs, but we've got a dozen unwrapped but otherwise new copies left. If you're interested in picking one up, send an e-mail to colortheory@colortheory.com.

All Color Theory CDs are now $9.99 at colortheory.com. The first five CDs are available at a package price of $39.99. Shipping is a flat $3 worldwide for your entire order. The sixth CD, Color Theory presents Depeche Mode, sold out last month and is no longer available. Life’s Fairytale and Tuesday Song are next in line to run out. All Color Theory albums will remain available for purchase as mp3 downloads, which are now priced at $8.99.

The Thought Chapter scheduled for fall release

The new album has been delayed yet again, for reasons beyond my control. My mastering business has been booming, which means I spend the vast majority of my days working on other peoples' music. Color Theory fills the gaps between my professional and family commitments, and I'm okay with that. I've managed to finish six songs so far, and feel safe announcing a "fall" release. I could slam something out next week if I had to, but I'm committed to making this the standout album of my career to date.

If enough demand exists, it may be released as a physical CD again someday, but definitely not in the ultra-cool and ultra-expensive Super Jewel Box.
