It was announced earlier this week that Faith will again be performing the opening theme for NBC's "Sunday Night Football" this year. Faith is also involved with the new NFL Sunday Night Football Cookbook, out September 2, 2008, which contains more than 150 recipes contributed by NFL players, alumni, top chefs, and the NBC Sports on-air team.  This year, Faith teams up with John Madden to offer an introduction to the cookbook, as well as lend one of her very own recipes. Faith and 6 NFL All-Pro's can be seen in a new "Sunday Night Football" promo spot debuting on NBC during the Olympics, which begin on August 8. The hilarious promo was filmed last month in Pasadena, CA and features the NFL All-Pro players "cooking" for Faith and her friends, preparing snacks for the evening's "Sunday Night Football" game. NBC Sports will again feature five-time Grammy Award-winner and multi-platinum recording artist Faith Hill performing the opening theme for NBC "Sunday Night Football," "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." In conjunction with her participation, NBC has also announced that Hill will be part of an ongoing promotional campaign, the first of which will begin running as part of the Indianapolis Colts versus Washington Redskins telecast of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Sunday, August 3.  The spots will continue to air during NBC's coverage of the Olympics August 8th-25th. 
     
This first promo, which sees NFL players preparing game-time snacks for Faith and her girlfriends, was filmed in Pasadena in June.  It features a cast of All-Pros including Indianapolis Colts' defenders Dwight Freeney and Bob Sanders, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, Rams wide receiver Torry Holt and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis.
     
"Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" debuts Sunday, Sept. 7, NBC's first regular season "Sunday Night Football" broadcast of 2008 featuring Peyton Manning and the Colts hosting the Chicago Bears, in the opening game of the Colts new home, Lucas Oil Stadium. The opening theme will continue weekly, kicking off "Sunday Night Football" every Sunday night throughout the NFL season on NBC.

"The promo piece is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.  Fans will be in for a real treat getting a glimpse of these guys in the kitchen.  We had a blast!"

    "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" is set to the original Joan Jett song, "I Hate Myself for Loving You." She recorded the track with her longtime producer Byron Gallimore at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tenn. The video was shot at three locations: The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., in New York City, and at Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas. 
     
    Hill has established herself as one of the music industry's top vocalists, with a voice that is as powerful as it is recognizable.  She is the first musical artist to return as the featured performer of an NFL open since Hank Williams, Jr.

Faith Hill fans are getting the chance to celebrate Christmas a little early this year. Faith is offering track previews from her upcoming, highly anticipated Christmas album, Joy to the World. Beginning on Thursday, July 10th, fans will be able to preview one new Joy track per week, culminating with the album’s official release on September 16th. “Joy to the World” is the first track that will be available exclusively to Mobile Club members. The recording features The Nashville Orchestra as well as the London-based choirs Metro Voices and The London Oratory School Boys Choir.  Grammy Award winner David Campbell (Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Beyonce) provides a newly composed full orchestration for Joy, which gives such classics as “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Holly Jolly Christmas” a fresh, unique and, at times, big band groove. Joy to the World is co-produced by Dan Huff, Byron Gallimore and Faith.  It was engineered by Allen Sides.
