Hanson has joined with other artists to create a 30 second Rock The Vote ad to be seen nationwide beginning Monday. You can view the ad at Hanson.net .

Hanson will take their act to the sea when they join the Rock Boat IX in January 2009! The five night adventure will begin on January 17, 2009 and end January 22, 2009. The trip will take us from Miami to Nassau to Half Moon Cay and back. We will be joining our friends Sister Hazel, Cowboy Mouth, Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers and Michael Tolcher plus many more great artists. All of the fun will take place aboard the Carnival Destiny, where you’ll be able to witness truck loads of live performances on five stages, enjoy 24-hour room service, a full casino, plenty of pools, and more bars than you can shake a stick at! HANSON are pleased to announce that they will be heading out on the road for the first leg of their The Walk Tour '08. The Tour is in support of their fourth studio album, The Walk, which was released on their own 3CG Records label. The Walk was inspired, in part, by HANSON's recent trip to South Africa and Mozambique, where they recruited children from the local orphanage to form a choir, who are featured on two songs on the new album, including their charity single, "Great Divide".

Supporting Hanson on this tour will be indie rockers, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers and singer/songwriter, Kate Voegele. The tour is scheduled to run April 9th through May 7th. For tour details, visit the Tour Section.

Before the tour, HANSON will be appearing at the acclaimed SXSW (South By Southwest) Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas. HANSON will perform on the SXSW Live (Direct TV) stage on Thursday 13th at 8pm and at La Zona Rosa on March 15th.The SXSW Live Stage is open to the public space permitting. More details will be posted as they become available.

Go, from the album The Walk, can be now heard in a new Brazilian film, Sexo com Amor. The film revolves around three couples at different phases in life, from different social conditions and ages that have one thing in common: they're going through a rough time. You can learn more about the film, its cast and watch the trailer at the official website. At this time, there is no word whether a soundtrack will be released for the film.

In the summer of last year we had a crazy idea - to do a contest where the winner would have a song written by us, exclusively for them. That idea became the Song For You Contest. The winner, Traci Brown, was announced last November and now, her song is ready! Read about the songwriting process, Traci's reaction hearing it for the first time and download the song for free. KZZP in Phoenix (104.7) has posted several photos of the band under the section '2008 Grammy Awards Behind the Scenes with Special K'. Their pics are 193 - 206. The interview should be posted within the next week.

MIX 94.1 has posted an interview with Hanson from their visit to Las Vegas in November. You can also view the interview/performance on YouTube.

We have unveiled our new Media Section at Hanson.net!
