ECO LANDS
Eco Lands, powered by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, will be an interactive conservation happening within Outside Lands where you can watch some of today's most critically acclaimed artists on a solar powered stage, eat sustainably at the organic farmer's market, educate yourself on energy efficiency, calculate your carbon footprint, win prizes for recycling and more! PG&E's ClimateSmart is also making the festival one of the largest carbon neutral events in the country.
Along with taking care of Golden Gate Park, our ultimate goal is to leave you well informed about ways to reduce energy use, adopt renewables and reduce your carbon footprints…all simple changes in your life that will have a huge impact on the environment. Oh, and we figured some of you might want to watch Radiohead, Tom Petty, or Jack Johnson from the side of the stage. Travel around Eco Lands, get your Outside Lands Passport stamped for taking action, and you just might end up with the best seat in the house!

WINEHAVEN
Music isn't the only thing that rocks in San Francisco. Wine is the Bay Area's drink of choice, and the roots run deep. Outside Lands is excited to celebrate this tradition with an artisan winery tent called Winehaven. 100 years ago, Winehaven was the largest winery in the world, located on the Bay at Point Molate in Richmond.
With our rich local history in mind, we've assembled an exciting line-up of small California wineries with wines that taste as good as the music sounds. Taste coastal Pinot Noir...old vine Zinfandel...Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon...sparkling wine cocktails...wines from San Francisco's newest winery Foggy Bridge...and talk to the folks who make 'em! See you at Winehaven...

OUTSIDER ART
A stellar team of visual artists have made the Outside Lands site a very special place to hear music. Each of our six stages will be decorated by a different artist: Thomas Campbell, R. Pimple, Jeff Canham, Matt Leines, Monica Canilao, Rich Jacobs. With these visual mavericks on board, Outside Lands will be a full scale celebration of underground and outsider art.

A TASTE OF THE BAY AREA
From the Mission's taquerias to dim sum in Chinatown to the nouveau California cuisine, the Bay Area's cuisine is known to be eclectic and adventurous. Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is going above and beyond the standard festival food by engaging the Bay Area's food resources. The festival will showcase fresh, locally grown organic produce and meat as well as featuring local restaurants that put the Bay Area on the map as one of the best places for discerning palates.
You will be able to get freshly shucked oysters from Hog Island Oyster Company, grab a skewer of grilled beef and chicken from Asqew Grill, try Maverick's famous pulled pork sandwich, wolf down a burrito from Gordo's, or taste Hawaiian poke from Pacific Catch. And of course, you can still get a hamburger or hotdog, but both will be organic farm-raised meat with locally grown lettuce and tomato.
Make sure you come to the festival hungry, because the food will certainly satiate you as much as the music!
