You'll always get a unique view of events through Ray's eyes, this is interesting...I'd like to see more of it. 20th Century Man is a barbed song which despite it being done in September 2001 after 9/11 retains fire and passion for a bter place. The world is so fucked up now....

Loved your recent show in Sydney, Australia, Ray. Wonderful mix of the newer material and the old. Nice tight band behind you and amazed at how fit you've remained. Thanks for such a great night

Ray Davies is why I fell in love with music, and his music, both solo and with The Kinks is legendary. He is the most brilliant song writer in popular music - and only now are people getting it. I was dancing to Picture Book when I was 13 - Ray, you wrote about me in Rock and Rock Fantasy and I know ALL of your work and at times when I was down or troubled in the past, it was your songs that got me through and inspired me again. I also notice you write about 'the sun' over and over again. Well then, thank you for the rays! If at all possible, and if you would do an interview for my blog indierockcafe.com when you're in SF, it would be the highlight of my life. Only thing is you'd have to limit the time because I could talk to you for days about your songwriting :D You should be knighted!
