Tickets for Dave Matthews Bands’ North American tour go on sale this Saturday, March 29th, and fans who purchase theirs through Ticketmaster.com will receive a special bonus: an exclusive, free digital album comprised of highlights from the 40-city tour. Each ticket purchased through Ticketmaster.com will receive a unique code in mid-September that can be redeemed for the digital album on the iTunes Store – a month before it goes on sale to the general public. Dave Matthews Band fan association members who have already purchased tickets through the Warehouse pre-sale will also receive a unique code in mid-September that will enable them to receive a free copy of the digital album via iTunes.

Dave Matthews Band will be headlining the ROTHBURY main stage on Saturday, July 5, 2008 as part of an initial festival lineup that includes Widespread Panic, John Mayer, 311, Phil Lesh and Friends, Primus, Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti and Spearhead and many, many others.  

ROTHBURY is scheduled to take place during the 4th of July weekend, at the unique Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, MI.  The four-day, environmentally sustainable music and camping festival promises to be an inspiring cultural assembly where music fans, artists and progressive thinkers will gather to celebrate much more than music. We are excited to announce that Dave Matthews Band will be headlining the first annual Mile High Music Festival presented by SanDisk, scheduled to take place just outside of Denver, CO at the Outer Fields area of Dick's Sporting Goods Park on July 19-20, 2008.  DMB will perform as top bill on  on Sunday, July 20th, while Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will headline the festival on Saturday, July 19th.  Other artists in the lineup include John Mayer, The Black Crowes, O.A.R., Michael Franti and Spearhad, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Steve Winwood, Colbie Caillat, The Roots and many more!  The Mile High Music Festival, the likes of which Colorado has never before seen, will feature five stages (some tented), food from many of Denver's best restaurants, an artists' village, misting tents and more.

KOKUA FESTIVAL

We are pleased to announce that Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will join Jack Johnson at the Fifth Annual Kokua Festival on April 19-20, 2008 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii.  All proceeds from the Earth Day weekend festival will benefit the Kokua Hawai'i Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Jack and Kim Johnson to support environmental education programs in the schools and communities of Hawaii.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Hawaii time.  Tickets are $50 for reserved seats, $125 for tickets in the seated pit area, $40 for general admission/lawn, and $20 general admission for children 3-12.  Children under age 3 are free.  New this year, online ticket purchasers will have the option to add on $2 to offset their personal travel to the show.  For additional information, please visit the Kokua Festival  website. 

AN ACOUSTIC EVENING WITH DAVE MATTHEWS & REYNOLDS TO BENEFIT SEEDS OF COMPASSION

We are pleased to announce that Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will be joined by His Holiness the Dalai Lama for an unprecedented evening of conversation, music and compassion at Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on April 11, 2008.  This benefit concert is in celebration of the five-day Seeds of Compassion event centered on His Holiness the Dalai Lama, April 11-15 in Seattle.

An interpersonal dialogue between the Dalai Lama, Dave Matthews and others on the role of music in helping to build cultural, racial and religious bridges and how the emotions experienced through music unify and ultimately serve to create global compassion will take place onstage at 4:30 pm PST prior to the start of the concert. All concert ticket holders are invited to attend the dialogue.

Tickets will be available to the general public through the venue box office and Ticketmaster at 10:00 a.m. PST on Saturday, February 16, 2008.  

A VIP package will be offered exclusively through Seeds of Compassion.  Priced at $1000, the VIP package includes a complimentary ticket with preferred seating to the dialogue and concert, an exclusive reception, two general seating passes to Science Day morning OR afternoon panel, 2 general seating passes to Public Day, 2 general seating passes to Interfaith Dialogue and a limited edition Concert for Compassion poster.

We are pleased to announce that Stefan, along with composer Steve Wood, recently composed and arranged the score of the upcoming MacGillivray Freeman Films IMAX Theatre 3D release entitled Grand Canyon Adventure - River at Risk featuring songs and music by Dave Matthews Band. Grand Canyon Adventure is due out on March 14, 2008 in anticipation of World Water Day (March 22, 2008).
