Vanessa Amorosi

US rockers Hoobastank have enlisted Vanessa Amorosi to feature on their new single “The Letter”, which was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance). The video which features Vanessa, was shot in Los Angles at Lacy Street Studio with Grammy nominated director Paul Brown (Jack White/Alicia Keyes). Both the video and single will be serviced to Australian media on Monday May 4.

Doug Robb, lead singer of Hoobastank committed about working with Vanessa, “We were all very excited about how the song The Letter turned out with Vanessa singing on it. She brought a haunting yet powerful quality to the song that we think sounds great. The video was a blast to make as well. She rounded out the story perfectly and I finally got to trash a room. This is one of my favourite videos of ours so far. It looks amazing.”

“I loved the song from the first time I heard it.  To be asked to sing on it by Hoobastank was amazing, they are a great bunch of guys. I can personally relate to the lyrics and message,” said Vanessa Amorosi.
