U-Melt News: Spring Southern Tour, Late Night Jazz Fest and 2 Sets at Summer Camp! Hey hey Hey Everyone, Spring is here and we are very excited to be kicking off our Spring Southern Tour this Thursday, 4/24, when we return to The 8x10 in Baltimore, MD. The following night we will be returning to Roanoke, where THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN VENUE! Club MixOne6 is now closed so our show on Friday has been moved to the upstairs room at 202 Market (202 Market Square). On Saturday, 4/26, we are very excited to be making our debut at Headliners in Columbia, SC, before heading to Atlanta on Sunday for our return to Smith's Olde Bar. After taking Monday off, we'll be heading down to Mississippi for shows at Proud Larry's in Oxford on Tuesday, 4/29, and Martin's in Jackson on Wednesday. Tje next day, we'll then be returning to Birmingham, AL, for our return to Zydeco on Thursday, 5/1. Following our show in Birmingham, we are very psyched to be heading back to New Orleans for another late night Jazz Fest throw down on Saturday, 5/3 (technically 5/4)! This year, the show will take place at The Blue Nile and we are very excited to welcome our new friend DJ Logic to join us for the show! We can't wait to see what develops with Logic on stage and we hope you can make it down to New Orleans and join us for this exciting night of music. We'll be heading home after the show in New Orleans for a long over-due return to Philadelphia on Friday, 5/9 when we head back to Philly's North By Northwest for 2 very long sets of U-Melt music! It's been way too long since we played in Philly so we hope you can all plan on joining us for our return. The following Thursday, we are happy to be heading back to the land of Rob and Adam for our return to Mulachy's in Wantagh for 2 long sets! Both the NxNW show and the Mulcahy's show are "An Evening With U-Melt" in an attempt to provide you all with as much U-Melt music as possible with the limited amount of Northeast shows over the next few months--please mark your calendars now and join us for these two shows! MIDWEST RUN AND 2 SETS AT SUMMER CAMP--INCLUDING "PRE-PARTY" LATE NIGHT SET! We have put together a couple of very cool shows in the Midwest for the week heading out to Chillicothe, IL for our return to Summer Camp. On Tuesday, 5/20, we will be joining The Macpodz at The Blind Pig when we return to Ann Arbor, MI. The next night, 5/21, we are very psyched for our long over-due return to Indianapolis, IN for a FREE SHOW at The Mousetrap. From Indy, we'll be heading to Summer Camp where we are happy to announce we'll be playing 2 sets again! U-Melt's first set at Summer Camp will take place during the "Pre-Party" late night festivities on Thursday, 5/22, when we make our debut in the Red Barn. To start things off on Thursday, 7/3, we have been invited to join moe. at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, OH as part of NLQP's Rythmfest! U-Melt will be playing 2 sets on the Second Stage, one immediately before moe.'s headlining performance and the other during moe.'s set break. The following day, on the 4th of July, we'll be back in New Jersey where we will be playing a special late night set at The Stone Pony, following moe.'s performance outside at The Pony's Summer Stage. This has the makings of one incredible night of music so we hope you will all plan on spending the 4th with U-Melt and moe. at The Jersey Shore! August finds us heading back to Ohio for a headlining spot at the Shamy Bash at the Frontier Ranch on Saturday, 8/9, but keep an eye on our tour dates as we will be spending a few more days in the Midwest on our way out to the festival. Finally, U-Melt is excited to be invited to headline PhanPhest 4.0 this year, with a 3 hour 2 set performance from 7pm-10pm on Saturday night, 8/23, at Snipes Farm in Morrisville, PA (45 minutes north of Philly). U-Melt is honored to be closing the Main Stage on Saturday, and we will be joined by our friends the Ryan Montbleau Band who will be headlining on Friday.
