i hope everyone realizes that this is a fictional band. like spinal tap. the person who wrote the song that thing you do is actually the guy from Fountains of Wayne who is now well known for having written the song Stacy's Mom. So his real first hit was that thing you do, then Stacy's Mom...Just a little funfact hahaha
