LOS ANGELES, CA - The Marshall Tucker Band has been releasing albums, many gold and platinum, since the early 1970s. This southern rock band has recorded everything from country to rock to blues and jazz during their long career. Just in time for Valentine's Day - the current lineup including founding member Doug Gray on lead vocals, Pat Elwood on bass guitar, Chris Hicks on lead guitar and vocals, Stuart Swanlund on rhythm guitar, B.B. Borden on drums, and Marcus Henderson on keyboards, sax, flute, and vocals - will release: Love Songs, a compilation of some of their greatest love songs from the past 35 years.

A must-have for any Tucker fan, the compilation includes 13 classic tracks including "Too Stubborn" from A New Life (1973), "Try One More Time" and "In My Own Way" from Where We All Belong (1974), "Virginia" from Searchin' for a Rainbow (1975), "I Should Have Never Started Lovin' You" from Carolina Dreams (1977), and "I Love You That Way" and "Why am I Crying" from The Next Adventure (2007), as well as rare single edits of "Can't You See" (The Marshall Tucker Band, 1973) and "Heard It In a Love Song" (Carolina Dreams, 1977).

This collection also includes four songs not currently in release, "Love Will" (from Southern Spirit, released in 1990), "Love I Gave to You" (from Face Down In the Blues, released in 1997), "If That Isn't Love" (from Walk Outside the Lines, released in 1993), and "Let Me Come Home" (from Still Smokin', released in 1992). This compilation is the perfect addition to the collection of any Tucker follower.
