Until I got the Green Man in 2004 I'd sort of lost track of Roy Harper> Something to do with emigrating to Oz in '83, starting a family etc and general work/ living. I missed growing older with him as I'd previously done since first hearing "Song of the ages" in '69. "The Green Man" brought so many memories back. Best albums? IMO "Stormcock" & "Flat Baroque and berserk" - beautiful vocals and great tunes. Under-rated artist

Am listening to the Green Man album at the moment, what an amazing album. What an amazing 40 year career. Unforgettable fresh-sounding tracks with lots of relevance in the lyrics. I heard one of your songs by chance and wish that i'd heard your music earlier and come along to one of your gigs.

I saw Roy many times during the 80's in the UK, brilliant concerts. Oh to have a chance to see him again - when are you coming to Istanbul?

Roys music has been part of my life since I was a teenager in the 70's. Influenced by my brother who had Lifemask and Flat Baroque & Berserk I saw him 3 times during my time as a student in Manchester. I love his writings on his website (though there hasn't been one for a while). Brilliant

Roy Harper is a genius. The very fact that I am the second person writing something for him is a testimonial to this.
