There will be a video coming soon of Neil Galanter's American Premiere of the Marcel Poot Concerto for Piano and Orchestra from Sat. Oct. 13, 2007 performance with Valley Symphony Orchestra in Los Angeles, CA.

Marcel Poot is a Belgian composer who lived from 1901-1988 and wrote delightful music, very melodic, post modern reminiscent of a combination of Hindemith, Ravel, Scriabin and Stravinsky.  

He wrote two piano concertos which are rarely if at all played. Mr. Galanter has made the first US Performance of the 1959 concerto.
