I wrote a review of Divine Comedy on Amazon.com. Milla emailed me personally and told me that I had described her songs in terms of my own life. She pointed out in a gentle way that she didn't write those songs about my life. Still, those songs were all about my life. Maybe they are all about every life. Milla is a beautiful woman, but her songwriting is even more beautiful.

Divine Comedy is my favourite album of all time. Very ethereal. I love it. ...And why would Evanescence be listed as a related artist? The styles of music aren't at all alike. Milla's sound on this album is unique. If I had to compare her to anyone, it would be artists like Bjork and Enya. And I've no idea who Beth Hart is, so I can't argue that.

Bought this pretty much in speculation some almost ten years ago, and I agree it's totally underrated indeed.

Absolutely one of my favorite albums!! If you go to her fan web page there are some unpublished songs on there that are just as good.

I totally agree with you Sarah. This album is excellent and she put on a greta live show back then too.
