It's been in the works for a while now - Low Level Flight are currently in the studio recording their sophomore album with renowned producer Gus Van Go (The Stills, The Trews, Priestess).

The band spent the first half of 2009 writing about 20 songs before beginning work with Gus in July. Some "early versions" of those songs were previewed at shows throughout the year, while others have remained in the vault. Which songs will make it on the album, and even what the album will sound like has yet to reveal itself, but the band know the final result will pleasantly surprise a lot of people.

The rest of the summer will be spent working on the album, before preparing for the release on the band's own label, I Heart Records.
