Some of you guys already have my new record “Apple Tree.” And some of you don’t…YET.  This applies to both of you.  I have decided to make this record FREE for anyone who would like to download it.  Not only that, but the download has two exclusive BONUS TRACKS.  Why, you ask? 

 

Some friends of mine here in Nashville have started something called Noise Trade (www.noisetrade.com [http://www.noisetrade.com/]), which provides a way for me to give away my record to people who might want it, in exchange for A) Telling your friends about it or B) Paying whatever price you decide is fair (much like Radiohead did).

 

Most of the music I’ve found and loved was recommended to me by my friends.  Word of mouth is a very powerful thing.  Also, as an independent artist, I rely heavily on my mailing list to keep in touch with you guys.  It's perhaps one of the most valuable things I have because it connects me directly to you.

Since I started giving away this record a couple days ago, hundreds of people have downloaded my record in exchange for their email and telling their friends about it.  It's pretty amazing.  If you are on this list, I'm guessing you dig the music I make. This is the perfect way for you to share it with any and everyone you know who you think also might like my music!
