Funny story: I've been a huge fan of Bad Religion forever, and I had no idea Greg Graffin did any solo work. Then I met the woman who is now my wife, who is a huge fan of Greg Graffin, but had never even heard of Bad Religion. We each learned something, and we both love Bad Religion and Greg Graffin now.

If you like his solo stuff you may want to try Bad Religion's hard-to-find "Into The Unknown" from like 1983 or so. Watch out, tho' - there's a lot of synthesizer. He also has 1 or 2 tracks (under 'Greg & Greg') on the "Desperate Teenage Lovedolls" soundtrack from 1984.

yeah, hes got amazing melody. Check out the acoustic version of 'suffer' from the album 'live silver wings club'. Not sure if its actually an album or not, but its an amazing recording, for sure. Here's to Greg and his endless ability to surprise!!

I was absolutely dumbfounded when i first heard this album. The contrast between BR and Greg's solo stuff is unbelievable! You really get a sense for how well he can sing when he plays this slower bluegrass music. It reminds me of the way he sings "Sorrow" from The Process of Belief
