Every time I hear this song I recall 'Leavin' On a Jet Plane" by Peter Paul and Mary. I think it's plagiaristic.. It's such a recognizable riff from a song from the 60s. Steve Miller did the same thing with his 'Rockin' Me' and his obvious steal of the intro from the Free song "All Right Now".
