Escherbach - April 2009 Newsletter
Here is your news for Escherbach happenings in the month of April, and a few other things as well.
Shows:
4.4.09 - The Corner Bar, Kalamazoo, MI $5, 21+ - We will be making our return to The Corner Bar in Kalamazoo this Sat night. We hope our new Michigan fans can make it out. Also playing will be: Legion, Abraham
4.5.09 - Chippewa Bowl, South Bend, IN, ALL AGES - Ok, so here is the deal with this show. This is a benefit show that our good friend Jessica Lynn is coordinating with some other people in order to raise money for Liz and Margaret West, two young women who recently lost both of thier parents within a three week time span. Please come out and donate for a good cause and have some fun bowling with your friends. Details below.
- 12pm-12am
- $20 Admission Donation Package includes 2 games of bowling with shoe rental, food & drinks.
- Donations are encouraged if you do not wish to purchase the package.
- Bands playing: Jassy Grazz, Escherbach, Chris Walker Band, Gazebo Love Child, Lauren Kotinek, The Dump Truck, and more
- Open Jam stage set up for anyone willing to participate
- Prizes for wearing costumes and many other events & happenings
4.18.09 - McCormicks, South Bend, IN, FREE, 21+ - Escherbach will be creating noise at McCormicks for the first time after the Umphreys McGee show at the Morris that same night. Guaranteed to be a blast with the hometown crowd. If you're going to the Umph show stop by afterward to continue to party, it's only about a minutes walk south afterall.
4.22.09 - Macs, Lansing, MI, $5, 21+ - Escherbach debut at Macs in Lansing. Come support if you're in the area, and let your friends know too.
Heads Up:
We have a couple of shows that we want to let you in on as soon as possible so here is some info:
5.10.09 - Escherbach will be opening for the prog band The Syn at Matties in Elkhart. This will be our first semi-major opening slot for a touring band. Mark your calendar and come support us and show some love. Admission will be $15. If you want to check out The Syn look here: www.synmusic.net
5.15.09 - We will be opening for a couple more younger touring bands at Ugly Mugs in downtown South Bend as part of an Industry Showcase Tour presented by The M Agency. The bands are Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte and Only The Ashes Remain. This show will be $7 and ALL AGES. You can purchase tickets on our myspace page www.myspace.com/escherbach just below the flyer for the event. If you don't want to purchase them that way then you can always just get ahold of us. Other Stuff:
- We now have a blog setup at www.escherbach.comunder 'blog'. You can subscribe to our blog via RSS Feed if you wish and recieve news and other random bits of info about the band we see fit to post. We only send out newsletters once a month so to keep completely current subscribe to the blog! Thanks to The HumanCpU for making this possible.
- Our debut album Cycles is now available via iTunes and Amazon Mp3 if you wish to download it through those means.
