In 2009, Dreadzone are set to roll like thunder with a new album and an explosive new single that sounds like no one else and is a timely reminder of the depth and originality of this unique British group. The new single ‘Beyond A Rock’ will be out on July 6th. The band with roots in Big Audio Dynamite have had a 6 album career which has spanned the credibility of a Creation Records release, major moves on Virgin and independent support on Functional and Rufflife. Cited by John Peel as having recorded one of his 10 favorite albums of all time, the top 20 hit from that album ‘Little Britain’ has since acquired classic status. 'Beyond a Rock' pumps with a bass heavy swagger, rock guitar, electro riffs and fat drums underpinning a memorable vocal hook and a rap of relentless drama.
