Help us Make MUSIC 4 MIKA 2008 bigger and better. Last year you helped us raise over $30,000. Over 1,400 supporters and fan came through M4M's gate! WOW - We were overwhelmed! Here are a few things your support has helped us accomplished... In February of 2007 HR 1216 The Cameron Gulbransen Kids Transportation Safety Act of 2007 passed into law. Go to www.kidsandcars.org[http://www.kidsandcars.orgfor more information - Mika's mother, grandmother, aunt, and family friend were able to go to Washington D.C. and witness M4M's money hard at work with KIDS AND CARS. This is a truly awesome organization!! KIDS AND CARS has lobbied for this bill for many years and your support of Music for Mika aided in the efforts of this wonderful accomplishment. However, we cannot stop here. A very important part of this bill had to be eliminated before it could be passed. The requirement for auto makers to place a child reminder system in all passenger vehicles was taken out. Music for Mika’s new goal is to see a new bill passed with this requirement. Therefore the process of calling and writing state representatives, going to Washington D.C., contacting auto makers and much more starts all over again. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT MORE THAN EVER! In addition, two high school students where awarded $1,000 Mika Michele Terry Memorial Scholarship. Thanks for ALL your support and we hope to see you again this year!
