It's simple: If you pet someone else's (fluff)Friend, you receive 5 munny! If someone else pets your (fluff)Friend, you receive 3 munny. Easy as that. Here's an example:

Note that you can only earn munny once per day for petting any particular (fluff)Friend, so you can't just keep petting the same one over and over. The new day begins at Midnight GMT - 4PM in California, and 7PM in Toronto.

Yes - first and foremost, you can only earn munny once per day for petting any particular (fluff)Friend, so it is beneficial to have a wide variety of friends with (fluff)Friends for you to pet!

Also, in order to discourage abuse, we have some limits in place: You can only pet a (fluff)Friend once every 5 seconds, and any particular (fluff)Friend cannot be pet more than 5000 times in 30 days.

You can earn even more munny by participating in brief, anonymous surveys! (fluff)Friends has partnered with Peanut Labs to help connect market researchers with users like you. All your information is kept completely confidential. You will earn 200 munny simply for signing up, and 500 muuny for each survey you complete. There is no limit to how many surveys you may take, although surveys are only available on an as-needed basis... you can check back any time to see if there are any available.

Once you have entered some basic information information, you will be informed when you have been selected to take a survey. You can also click the "Surveys" link at to top to check at any time whether a survey is available for you.

Surveys become available on an as-needed basis by market researchers and our partner, Peanut Labs. Surveys should be available roughly once every week or two, so you can check back whenever you like by just clicking the "Surveys" link at the top of every page. Also, if a survey becomes available that we think is a good match for you, we may e-mail you to let you know.

Surveys are targeted towards specific groups and demographics, so you will be informed whenever there is a survey available that you MAY be qualified for. However, that does not guarantee that you WILL be qualified.

Here is how the process works: When a survey is available that you may be qualified for, you will be taken outside of Facebook on to an external page and asked a few preliminary questions to determine whether or not you are qualified for this survey. If you are not qualified, after a short number of questions, you will be cut-off and told that you are not qualified. However, don't lose heart: Even if you are not qualified, you will still earn 100 munny simply for trying!

Note that you will only receive 100 munny if you have started taking the survey on the separate window outside of Facebook and then, at some later point, you get disqualified. You will not receive 100 munny if you are disqualified simply during the 1-3 questions within the (fluff)Friends survey box (without going to a separate page) - those questions are to determine whether or not you are eligible to be taken to a separate window and start taking the survey. Hope that makes sense - there should be enough surveys that you are qualified for that, in general, you will be able to go to an external page and receive either the 500 munny for completing the survey, or the 100 munny for participating and getting disqualified.

New surveys are released frequently, so it's best to check back often. Click here or the big "EARN MUNNY" button at the top of check if there are any new surveys.

The surveys have been tested to work, but may occasionally experience a small period of downtime. In these situations, one approach that worked is to wait a minute, and then try refreshing the page. Also, attempting to take the survey on a different browser (IE instead of Firefox, and vice versa) may resolve the situation.

If you experience repeated errors and nothing will resolve it, please write in and let us know in as much detail as possible exactly what is occurring.

Also, see the note below about surveys only being available for users residing within the US. If you are visiting (fluff)Friends from a different country, it is possible that you may experience errors.
