The Limited Edition Shop is a place where you can buy and sell rare items. These items are known as "Limited Edition" because they are no longer being produced - the only way to get a Limited Edition item is from someone who already has one.

Note: (fluff)Friends is currently opening "The Limited Edition" shop on a trial basis - there is a chance we may need to close it in the future.

The Limited Edition Shop sets up sales between (fluff)Friends users. Every item in the Shop is being sold by some other user.

For Buyers:

You can visit the Limited Edition Shop and see all the items that are currently for sale. Note that the only price that will be displayed is always the Lowest Price currently available. Simply click the button next to any item you would like to purchase.

For Sellers:

People who have Limited Edition items they would like to sell can head on over to the "Sell your Items" page. (There is a link at the top.)

As a seller, you have a choice of whether they want to sell items for munny or for Gold. Once you have made your choice and set your desired sales price, the item will be removed from your possession and placed into (fluff)Escrow. You can check on the status of you sale at any time, and cancel the sale (if it has not taken place yet) to have the item returned to you.

Note that when setting your price, you have a choice: You can set it lower than the current lowest price, the same as the current price, or higher than the current price. Each choice has consequences:

• If you set your price lower than the Current Lowest Price, then your item will be the very next one to be sold. This may be what you want to do if you would like your item to be sold quickly.
• If you set your price to be the same as the Current Lowest Price, then all items sold at the same price will be sold in the order that they were put up for sale.
• If you set your price higher than the Current Lowest Price, then your item will not be sold until all the ones at a lower price have been sold.

You will receive a Facebook notification when your item is sold. This notification may be blocked, so you can always check back to bottom of the "Sell Your Items" page to see if your items have sold yet.

In order to ensure that items you are selling are still available when buyers come to buy them, they are placed into a temporary safe-keeping place known as (fluff)Escrow

Don't worry about your Minis that go to (fluff)Escrow - it is very clean and well lit ^__^

While these items are certainly very special, they are not truly "Limited Edition" (yet), as they are still being produced. For example, it is still possible to win trophies for (fluff)Race Challenges, or to receive a (golden) Deeno as The Golden Bonus for purchasing Gold.

As time goes on, more items will become Limited Edition, after they are no longer being produced. The box at the top-right of The Limited Edition Shop will keep you informed about any items that are about to become Limited Edition. You will always receive roughly one week notice before any item becomes Limited.

Super Rare items are the most valuable and rare items in all of (fluff)Friends. In general, an item is Super Rare if there are less than 10,000 of them.

Because these items are so limited in quantity, no amount of munny could ever be enough to purchase them. Super Rare items can only be sold for Gold.

The Golden Bonus is a special "Thank You" item you receive every time you purchase 50 Gold from the (fluff)Friends Gold Store. More information is available in the Gold FAQ.

The Golden Bonus changes periodically. A few days after an item is no longer the Golden Bonus, it will become available to buy and sell at the Limited Edition Shop. Just like Super Rare items, Golden Bonus items can only be sold for Gold.

Exactly - anything being sold in the Limited Editon Shop is no longer being produced, which means it will never again be sold in the (fluff)Shop.

These particular Holiday Decorations are part of the 2007 collection... the 2008 Holiday Season will have an entirely new and different collection of goodies!
