The mission may prove to be the dawn of a new tomorrow, ending the long-standing enmity between two countries. But, some forces do not want that dawn to come. One of them is Raghavan who will do anything, including threatening the life of General Amarjeet Bakshi's daughter Sanjana. To protect Sanjana, Ram Prasad poses as a student at her school. But, Ram Prasad also has another agenda. He must fulfill the dying wish of his martyred father Brigadier Shekhar Sharma. This task involves intense emotions and long-standing misunderstandings, and strangely, the key to its success also can be found at Sanjana's school. As Ram Prasad Sharma struggles to carry out his dual missions of love and violence, his only mantra is "Main Hoon Na!"

If you're looking for a story about military conflict, watch Mission Kashmir. This film tries to be too much. After you watch, if you watch, read my complaints and find out why I expected so much more from Farah Khan.
***SPOILER*** DON'T READ UNTIL AFTER VIEWING***
Complaints:
1. Bollywood over uses the "matrix" in their action films. This is the first time I've seen it used as both an action sequence and for comic relief in the film... corny.
2. The only good songs are the ones from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen.
3. Amrita Rao's ears are too big and Sushmita is not good looking. Not enough eye candy.
4. The story is kind of ridiculous. It combines military/action with comedy and romance all on a University campus setting.
5. The scene where he gets shot and falls perfectly parallel to the ground... c'mon... then they did it again in the fight sequence and made Suniel move like fucking light speed.. wtf.. and "wow" with the old bulletproof vest trick. Bollywood desperately needs to upgrade their fight scenes. Looks so fake.
6. Predictable... so very predictable... and that was a big ass explosion for a couple of grenades.
I liked:
1. Great acting across the board. I like Suniel, SRK, Zayed Khan and Amrita. Besides her big ears, she is very cute.
2. It was entertaining despite its many flaws.
Hollywood: 2 stars
Bollywood: 3 stars

This movie is a great introduction to Indian Film if you have never watched any. It has romance, action and a bit of good humor. Thanks Meighan for the suggestion!

Zayed Khan is really cute, but he shouldn't cut his hair. It's interesting to watch a teen movie from bollywood

Even if you cannot speak the language, just the phrase itself (meaning, like, I'm here, aren't I?) gives you a feeling of being looked after- and what hero could one place their lives in the giant hands of more capably than Shahrukh? I ask you? There are no equals.
Farah Khan is the master choreographer, and she choreographs this gorgeous movie like a gigantic frenzied videoclip, full of colour and action and clever one liners, funny dialogue and SRK at his absolute most charming, when he is not only the romantic lead, but the forlorn long lost brother, the protector, the action hero and the dearest friend one could ever have.
So SRK, as an Indian Army Major Ram Sharma, moonlights as a student to protect a college student who is under threat by a terrorist organisation, all the while trying to fulfil his Father's dying wish and reconnect with his long lost half brother, Lucky. Unfortunately,Sanjana the object of his protection does not want a bar of him, and Lucky, her best friend, is hell bent on making the unfortunately horribly nerdy and dramatically older Ram's life a misery. That is until Ram saves Lucky's life, and then the two begin a friendship together with Sanju, who has befriends Ram also, given she is secretly deewana with Lucky.
Kirron Kher and Sushmita Sen star in very funny supporting roles, as does Boman Irani as the dopey college principal who hires a poorly disguised Suniel Shetty, aka the leader of the terrorist cell, and subsequently nearly gets the entire student body killed.
Tumse Milke, Main Hoon Na and Gori Gori are all brilliant songs too, coupled with the more music video approach to a B-wood number, but movie nerds will be giving some serious props to Farah for Chale Jaise Hawaien, which is one long continuous shot for near on six minutes. Serious props to the dancers and actors to- I have watched this movie about fifty times and have only seen two mistakes. Amazing!
Anyway, you should totally see MHN. It rocks. The Hindi movie industry at its sweetest best.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE MORE THAN TOAST. If you cannot enjoy this movie, eat your DVD player, then chase it with a pack of laxatives, cause you're obviously constipated.
