The story will hurt, you will cry. And it will burn into your mind.
See how a young boy may go through the guts of the darkened side of human masochism, and perversion. And witness how even a smart child under the most horrible of circumstances can be shattered under the worst situation.

Argento should be admired for her fearlessness, but this film is hard to appreciate due to its relentless degredation.

Vile beyond redemption.

There is no redemption, no surcease, and as the film ends the barbarity continues. This film made me intensely uncomfortable, but that was its intention.

Ultimately sabotaged by Argento's own deliriously uncontrollable hysterics.

A dutiful course in degradation, complete with a roster of villains as well established as those of any soap opera.
