(read more) The daughter of respected actor and matinee idol Lawrence Harvey, and model-turned-socialite Sophie Wynn, Domino Harvey was born into a life of wealth and privilege -- a lifestyle that did not interest her. Even from her earliest years, Domino rebelled against convention and the jet set. When Domino was only eight, her beloved father passed away and her mother looked to the stability of boarding school in a misguided attempt to tame her wild child. But nothing could repress Domino's fiery nature -- not friendships, not school, not her mother's high society. Even the extraordinary excesses paraded before her during a brief stint at modeling paled in comparison to her own escapades. Not until she stumbled upon a job seminar recruiting aspiring bounty hunters was her thirst for excitement at long last quenched. To Sophie's horror, Domino not only fell in love with the job but also with her fellow adventurers, who over the years would become her family.

Where did that idea come from, I wondered?
This one's a little too random... the editor must've been on crack when he was cutting this one up. It tries to tell the story backwards, but it just gets confused. Shitshitshit, never waist you're time watching this. Unless you absolutely LOVE and live for Keira Knightley.
Awesome action movie. The style is unique and cinematography is engrossing. Also clever use of symbolism without being force fed.
Ugh, the story was weak, weeeeaaaaak!
The direction on this film was crap. It was really annoying to watch. It had an awesome cast of actors and a cool concept which made it more disappointing.
This movie fails on so many levels.
Critic Reviews
This is a ridiculous movie. But is it fun-ridiculous, likefull review
Scarface? Might it go on to become a cult item? I suspect not.
Domino is less a movie than a hyperkinetic slide show -- presented during a nuclear attack.full review
Domino is amusingly decadent for a while but eventually wears you out. Two eyeballs are not enough to see it with.full review
The picture is an exercise in exploitation joi de vivre, and your enjoyment of it will depend on your tolerance for shameless, reckless, unredemptive violence with relatively little artistic or spiritual value.full review
The problem with Scott's film and Keira Knightley's performance as the bounty hunter is its bored delirium, a daze of scattershot ennui that prioritizes hipster carnage and flashy cuts over intelligible storytelling.full review
Scott's exasperating all flash, no substance approach to storytelling is exactly why his latest film... works as little as it does.full review
Manages the feat of literally spelling things out and being utterly incoherent.full review
Did I admire Domino? In a sneaky way, yes. It's fractured and maddening, but it's alive.full review
