The "twist" is too obvious, too early and while Viggo carries it well it is just too predictable.

In a decade of pointless sex scenes in movies, this had to be the movie that had the #1 pointless sex scene. And when that's all I can say about this movie, that should tell you enough right there on why I only gave it 1/2 star.

Jesus Joey! Great movie. Always nice to watch a film that shows violence for what it is.

Lassú a film, de jó a sztori. Túl sok párbeszédre nem is emlékszem belőle, mintha alig dumáltak volna a szereplők, mégis érdekes volt. Végig lekötötte a figyelmem és jól szórakoztam.

A strange David Cronenberg movie, and not in the usual audaciously morbid way. A brooding, contemplative picture that's tough, tight and masterfully controlled.

Probes our intrinsic attraction to violence with caustic incisiveness.

Despite the blood, the film follows Cronenberg's marvelous Spider in finding its true horror in the dark corners of the mind.

Although the movie maintains, and benefits from, the bare bones of a straight-up action story, what emerges onscreen is deeper and more interesting.
